Live the Life you Love

I need someone who will love me, even if I don’t remember their birthday. Someone who understands that I see no importance in “monthiversary”s or valentines day. Someone who will sit on the couch watching football and yelling at the tv screen with me. Someone who gets that when I’m mad, it’s probably not personal. Some one who will give me my space. Someone who gets my jokes and isn’t easily offended. I need someone who just gets me.

You can never plan for what life throws at you. Take everything one moment at a time. Don’t let your dreams prevent you from noticing what’s right in front of you. This is something college has taught me. I am learning to take one step at a time, one moment at a time and one friendship at a time. There is nothing more important than enjoying each moment and each situation you find yourself in.

Dont be afraid to admit you have emotions. Don’t block out the bad until it outweighs the positive in your life. Look yourself in the mirror, and remind yourself of how beautiful you are. Sometimes it’s better to sit down and cry your heart out than to weigh yourself down. Never forget that there are people who love you and who will catch you when you falter. Sometimes you find them in the most unlikely spots, but they care enough to be there.

college is the place you live out your dreams, you discover yourself, you discover the world. Don’t get stuck on just anything, make sure its worth your time. Asking for help doesn’t mean youre weak, it just means you are strong enough to acknowledge your weakness. Always be who you are, never sacrifice yourself to be what others want you to be.
